A little history about me

My photo
Mat Stephenson
I started in triathlon in 1991 and I feel I have achieved most things I have set out to do. Represented GB at ITU races Standard distance(Mexico '02, Hawaii '05). Long Distance (Ibiza '03 and Sweden '04). Duathlon (Belgium '04). Aquathlon (Hawaii '05). I seem to be suited more to Ironman distance. Frankfurt 9:44, Austria 9:19 Q7, Kona 9:35, South Africa 9:49 Q2, Zurich 10:26, Melbourne 8:59 Q6, Kona 11:16, Bolton 11:24, and recently became an Outlaw winner in 9:38, Two top-10 finishes at World Long Course Triathlon, National Silver at Middle Distance, Gold National Sprint Relays, World Bronze at Aquathlon. Race Across America (RAAM) finisher (4-man team), European and British Quadrathlon champion in 2012, 2016 Xterra Malta and Xterra Greece AG winner, European Tour winner and Xterra World Champs finisher. Funding as always is provided by the bank of Stephenson(working for it!) Always grateful for a sponsor or to become a brand ambassador.
